Morning Announcements for Wednesday, May 1, 2019
TODAY IS DAY 5
*EARLY RELEASE DAY today. Periods will run 1, 5, 6 & 7. ALL
students must leave school after the 11:19 am bell and there are
no after school activities. The Library will also close at 11:19 am.
Please remember to only bring your iPad to class today if your
teacher has asked you to. Sports team members must also leave
after the bell and return 15 minutes prior to your practice/game time.
coaches must be with the student athletes at all times. There is no
late bus this afternoon. Please make plans to take the bus, walk or
get a ride home. The Spirit Wear store will be open in the Donizetti
lobby today from 11:20 am until noon. Please stop by before you
leave school today to buy your “Raiders” wear.
Students working on the play DO have rehearsal this afternoon, after
the faculty meetings have concluded. Students should leave school
at 11:19 am and return to the auditorium promptly at 2:30 pm to meet Ms.
Speed. Please enter through the Donizetti entrance and head directly
to the auditorium.
*8th Graders: It’s Community Service Day! Your class will be traveling
today to various sites around Wellesley to volunteer your services. It’s
going to be a great day to be volunteering around Wellesley!
*Did you know that I Love Broc n Roll was written by a WMS alum?
Come check it out this Thursday at 4:30 pm or Friday at 7:00 pm. All
shows are free!
*Congratulations to the Monday and Tuesday Jazz Bands on a great
performance last night at Wellesley High School!
*Chinese Culture Club will meet tomorrow after school in room 249.
*Friday Video Club will be meeting Thursday at 2:30 pm in room 300.
*There are no Intramurals today.
