Morning Announcements for Wednesday, August 28, 2019

TODAY IS DAY 1

Welcome Back to School everyone! We hope you enjoyed a wonderful summer!

• Attention Students: Your Homeroom will be extended this morning until 9:03 am to meet your teacher and classmates,

        learn your schedule and review our school policies

• Period 1 – Grade 6 will stay in their homeroom.

Grade 7 will report to their Period 1 elective.

Grade 8 students will be called to the assembly in the

auditorium and escorted by their homeroom teacher.

• Period 2 – Grade 6 students will be called to the assembly in the

        auditorium and escorted by their homeroom teacher.

                          Grades 7 & 8 will report to their Period 2 class.

• Period 3 – Grade 6 will remain with their Homeroom teacher.

                          Grades 7 & 8 will report to their Period 3 class.

• Period 4 – Grade 7 will remain in their Period 3 class after the

                          bell. They will be called to the assembly in the

                          auditorium and escorted by their homeroom teacher.

                         Grade 6 will remain in their homeroom

                         Grade 8 should report to their Period 4 class.

LUNCH SCHEDULE FOR THE FIRST 3 DAYS OF SCHOOL:

                      Lunch I    11:10 – 11:48       Grade 6

                      Lunch II   11:52 – 12:17       Grade 7

                      Lunch III  12:21 –  12:46       Grade 8

• Periods 6 & 7 – All students report to their Period 6 & 7 classes.

       Period 6 today, please report to the auditorium.

• The Library will be open from 7:40 am – 2:30 pm this week.

        Beginning next week, the library will resume their normal hours, which are 7:20 am – 3:30 pm.

• There will be a meeting Thursday, August 29^th in the cafeteria immediately after school for all 7^th and 8^th grade girls interested in playing field hockey and volleyball.

• Attention all 8^th grade boys registered and/or interested in playing football: there is a mandatory meeting TODAY after school in room 243.  See Mr. Buckheit for questions.

• Auditions for 7^th & 8^th grade musicals are coming up! Please sign up for an audition slot of either Tuesday, September 3^rd or Wednesday, September 4^th.
• You will need to download or pick up a contract from outside of room 363. Contracts need to be filled out or signed by a parent/guardian and given to Ms. Speed or

         Ms. Fine by this Friday, August 30th.
