Announcements for 9/9/2026

This is a reminder that if you arrive before 7:40 in the morning, all students need to report to their waiting areas: Grade 6 (auditorium), Grade 7 (Gym B) and Grade 8 (Gym A). If you are eating breakfast in any grade, you should report to the cafeteria. And remember, no food should leave the cafeteria once dismissed. 

Our WMS Back to School Night is Thursday, September 24th, and we are looking for 8th grade students to help guide our guests throughout the building. If you are available on the 24th between 6:15 pm – 8:45 pm, please come to the main office and sign up. We will be selecting our guides at the end of the week. 

If you are signed up to audition today for Spongebob the musical, please go directly to the auditorium.  Please remember that you need your caregiver to fill out a contract prior to auditions. Any questions, please see Ms. Fine or Ms. Speed.

For all 6th, 7th and 8th grade students interested in learning more about the Wellesley Middle School Cross Country team, there will be a brief meeting after school today from 2:45–3:15 p.m. in the cafeteria.

For all 7th and 8th grade students interested in playing field hockey, there will be a brief meeting tomorrow, Thursday, at 2:45 p.m. in Room 212.

There will be no 3:30 pm bus to Boston today. All students riding to Boston will be taking the 2:30 pm bus. The late bus in Wellesley will leave at 3:30 pm.
