~Today is Wednesday, October 14, 2026, Day 4
~Block rotation (condensed periods): A, B, C, Advisory, D, E, F, G
~Lunch: No lunch
The bells will be turned on today, so listen for them when it’s time to pass between periods.
During Advisory, from 9:06-9:36 today, WMS will be holding its All-school Safety Training in the event of an active intruder. After Period 3 (C Block), which ends at 9:02, all students and staff need to report to Advisory. For staff, if you do not have an Advisory, please join one. No staff in the building should be conducting business that is not related to the training during this time. We will start promptly at 9:08. Advisors, please make sure the student training video, which can be found in Google Classroom, is queued up and ready to go prior to Advisory. We need to run on schedule as a whole school, so please make sure you are adhering to the schedule posted in Google Classroom. In advance, I thank everyone for engaging in this training later this morning.
The Spirit Wear Store will be open at the Donizetti entrance from 11:20 until noon today.
Tomorrow is Picture Day. If you did not place an order online, please bring your completed picture form to the photo session.
Today is an Early Release Day. Teachers will be in department meetings so all students must leave the building at the 11:21 dismissal bell. There will be no late buses to Boston or Wellesley.
All students who are going into town today, please remember that you are representing yourself, your families, neighborhoods, and our school. You have been given the privilege of independence and you must show that you can manage it. Please be respectful to each other as well as to store employees, other shoppers, and clean up after yourselves, especially after you eat.
Have a good day everyone!
Please note that the daily announcements are sometimes subject to change during the school day. When this happens the announcements will be updated on the website and on the video screen in the WMS lobby, but a new email will not be sent.
