* Today is 6th grade SEED
* Attention Tenacity Challenge Club members! Our special guest will be here today during period 7! Please report to Ms. DeGroot’s room, Room 211, immediately following
your period 6 class. That’s Room 211 immediately following your PERIOD 6 class. Be on time!
* iPads for Parent’s Evening will be held tonight, November 13th from 6:30 – 8:00pm in the cafeteria. This event is for your parents/guardians to come and learn more about iPads
and how they are used at WMS.
* The WMS Musical, Aladdin, Jr. will be held in the WMS Auditorium from November 29th – December 1st. Shows will be held on Thursday, Nov. 29th at 4:30pm, Friday, November 30th
at 7:00pm and Saturday at 2:00 and 7:00 pm. More details to follow. Hope you can make one of the shows!
*The spring musical auditions are around the corner, and the show will be High School Musical, Jr.! All 6th and 8th grade students are encouraged to audition. Students can pick up an
audition packet from Ms. Fine or Ms. Speed, at the board outside the drama room, or on the WMS Drama website. Auditions will be December 12 and 13. Can’t wait to see you there!
* Attention 6th, 7th and 8th graders: Do you like Geography? Does competition get you excited? If so, we have an event for you! On Tuesday, November 20th, the whole school will be
doing the preliminaries for the National Geographic Geography Bee. The top 10 finishers overall will participate in the school finals in December. If you want to practice or see what
kinds of questions are being asked, you have a Geography Bee app on your iPad. Your social studies teachers will give more details in the days to come.
