Friends of Wellesley METCO is sponsoring “First Friday” right after school today. Please come and play 3:3 basketball in Gym A, other games such as ping pong and board games in the cafeteria

  and Lauren Schneider Frazer will be joining us to teach cheer and dance moves in Gym A. All students are welcome to join us!

Today, STARS (Students Talking About Race Skillfully), will be sponsoring a race and stereotypes lunch during all three lunches for all students! We’ll be discussing current topics related to race

   and school culture. Sign up with Mr. Craft, Ms. Hannon or Mr. Chute, or   scan the QR code on the flyer outside the main office. See you at lunchtime today in room 234!

Don’t forget about the WELLESLEY Stem Expo will be held on Saturday from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm at the Wellesley High School. This event is free and open to the public and features 100+ exhibits

  & workshops. The Keynote Speaker is Dr. Cheryl Knott, a Boston University professor, who will talk about being “Face to Face with Orangutans.” For more information, please visit wellesleyfoundation.org/stem-expo.

Cradles to Crayons is looking for your gently used children’s clothing that you are able to donate for their great cause. The box will be in the WMS lobby thru the end of the day today.

Day of Silence is scheduled for this Tuesday, April 9th! Students who participate, which is completely optional, remain silent all day to show their support. Students can sign up either before school in the

   cafeteria, during 7th grade lunch or sign up in the main office, through April 8th. We’re doing a collection to donate money to the Trevor Project, an organization for homeless children and orphans with a house

   especially for LGBTQ youth.

* Video Game and Card Club will meet next Tuesday, April 9th after school in room 241.
