There will be no late bus to Boston today. All students from Boston need to take the 2:30 pm bus.

Today is the final day for Black History Month trivia. The answer to yesterday’s question is: Tuskegee University is the historically Black college that Booker T. Washington led. We are ending this month with a fun fact: Did you know that Shirley Chisholm was the first major-party Black candidate (and Black woman) to run for President of the United States in 1972? Thanks to everyone who made guesses during this month. The final winners will be announced on Monday.

Are you curious about what some people in our WMS community will be celebrating this month? This evening begins the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. Ramadan is an important holy month in the Muslim calendar. During Ramadan, Muslims do not eat or drink from sunrise until sunset. Fasting is one of the 5 pillars of Islam. It is also an important time to spend with family. We wish all people at WMS observing this holiday “Ramadan kareem” or “Ramadan Mubarak.”

Lost and found is piling up. Please check the table outside the main office for any items you may have lost. Older items will be donated soon.

Have a good day everyone!
