MCAS Civics Session 2 is today for Grade 8. At this time all 8th graders should be in Advisory. All 6th and 7th graders should be in Block E. The testing period will last from approximately 7:45 – 9:00 a.m. As a reminder, no iPads should be used outside of the test itself. Time outside of the classroom for grade 8 should be highly monitored by teacher discretion and kept to an absolute minimum. Grades 6 and 7: please be very quiet in the halls when passing between periods. The library will be closed for MCAS this morning. Bells will remain on throughout the entirety of the day.
The Graphic Novel Book Club will be meeting today during all three lunches in Room 217.
The Grade 6 Spring Band Concert is tonight at 7:00 p.m. in the WMS Auditorium! Students will be joined by the Grade 5 Elementary Bands. Come hear arrangements of High Hopes by Panic At The Disco, Viva La Vida by Coldplay, the Mission Impossible theme and more! The concert is free to the public and it is sure to be a fabulous night of music.
7th grade students in Ms. Moore’s tutoring program, please report directly to the library after school today.
The bus to Boston will leave at 3:30 today. The late bus in Wellesley also leaves at 3:30. All students need to listen for the PA announcements for their departure from WMS.
