Dear Sprague Families,
Hello. The summer has been full of warmth and sunshine, which means high spirits and optimism. The path of warmth/sunshine and high spirits/optimism is a pleasant path. Please continue to join me.
Having said this, I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge the fact that there continues to be more questions than answers, which can often deter anyone from the path of optimism. Please stay the course. The answers continue to unfold slowly. Please note that it is crucial the district does this planning methodically and well. Your patience is recognized and appreciated more than you will ever know.
During the Thursday, August 6th’s School Committee meeting, the Superintendent and team presented the district’s proposed model with additional details. Please see the attached reports presented during this meeting. These can also be found on the district’s website.

August 13th School Committee Vote on the WPS SY20-21 Reopening Plan
August 14th WPS SY20-21 Reopening Plan due to the Department of Elementary/Secondary Education (DESE)
I am eager to actively communicate with all of Sprague as a result of the chosen plan. I recognize there may continue to be more questions than answers, but please know that I will address each as a priority and seek to find the answers.
