School Council

Under MA General law, a public elementary school, such as Sprague, will build, foster, and maintain a school council
-
The goals and objectives of a school council are to meet regularly, collaborate, and aid in the development of educational needs of the school for the sake of students
-
As a council, the agendas will be created together and the council will meet approximately four times during the school year
-
The first meeting will be in early December 2020
-
The council is made up of equal parts staff and parent representatives
-
During the 2019-2020 school year, Sprague had a council of six members – equal parts staff and parents
-
Sprague is in need of one parent representative for the 2020-2021 school year
-
