Dear Sprague Families,
This week Sprague hosted Dr. Lisa Fox, WPS Science Director, to help us launch the highly anticipated Total Northern Solar Eclipse on April 8th. Dr. Fox presented a mini-lesson to the Sprague students on what, how, when, and why. What is a solar eclipse? How does a solar eclipse happen? Why does a solar eclipse happen? Finally, when does a solar eclipse happen? Did you know that the next total solar eclipse will not occur in the contiguous United States until August 23, 2044. Wow! That means we must catch this one on April 8th!
