Hello Class of 2025 and Parents/Guardians,
This email includes long awaited senior spring updates including information about March Madness, 80s dance, and prom. Need-to-know information is highlighted, and if you would like further detail read the whole description under each section.
Attached at the bottom of this email is a full calendar of events for the rest of senior year, so please feel free to take a look at that to see what events we have ahead!
March Madness
This year, the class officers are thrilled to announce the first-ever school-wide March Madness tournament. This is open to staff and students alike.
To enter, fill out this form, and pay the $5 entry fee via venmo: (wellesley25), or cash in a labeled envelope, which you may drop off in a labeled box in the third-floor house office. If your payment and bracket do not include first AND last name, your entry will not be valid. Please register by midnight on Thursday, March 20th. A PRIZE WILL BE AWARDED TO THE WINNER! We hope to create some friendly competition as well as fundraise for future class events with proceeds. Good luck! For all questions, please contact caparcoc@wellesleyps.org.
80s Dance
This event is fast approaching! The 80’s Dance will take place THIS FRIDAY, March 21st from 7 to 9 pm. This is a classic senior tradition, and is always a good time! There will be snacks, a DJ, a photobooth, and no shortage of good music and spirit. We highly encourage students to dress up in the 80s spirit! You can start with leather or denim jackets, fishnets, disco clothes, graphic tee shirts, or bright colors. Leg warmers and fingerless gloves are also easy accessories. Get creative!
This event is SENIOR ONLY, and only WHS students are allowed. Tickets are $15 each and you can sign-up here. Cash and Venmo accepted. If paying through Venmo, please write the attendee’s first and last name and “80s Dance” in the description. Tickets will be available for purchase the rest of this week at lunch. Make sure to check our class Instagram and your email for more updates.
Prom
This exciting senior event will take place May 29th at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA. Tickets are $115 each and are available for purchase only through RecTrac beginning this week.
