More about School Council:
The WHS School Council serves as the legislative branch of the school government. School Council is responsible for conducting open discussions and making recommendations on matters of school policy, school culture, curriculum, and other issues brought to its attention from its respective constituencies of the Student Congress, Faculty Senate, PTSO, local residents and the principal.  School Council is comprised of students, teachers, parents and community members who all work together with Dr. Chisum to examine and make recommendations on school policies, as mandated by the state education department.

School Council meetings are usually held on the second Tuesday of the month from 2:45pm to 4:00 pm at Wellesley High School Main Office.  Each year, the WHS parent/guardian community elects two representatives to serve on the WHS School Council for a two-year term.
