Morning announcements for Friday, June 2
Today is Day 2
* Today is the last day for book check out in the library. The last day to return books no matter when they were checked out is June 9.
* All submissions for the 8th grade banner are due TODAY! Thanks to all the talented artists who have submitted drawings.
* Next Friday, June 9th, the year-end dances will take place at WMS from 7:00 – 9:00. 8th graders should have received their tickets for admission in their homerooms. You will need to remember to bring that ticket Friday night to be admitted. The dance for 8th graders will be in the cafeteria with your own DJ, refreshments, and many more surprises. Plan on entering through the Kingsbury Street door. The dance for 6th & 7th graders will be in Gym A with your own DJ, as well as refreshments being served. The cost of the admission is $5 paid at the door, and plan on entering through the Donizetti Street entrance. These year-end dances are only open to WMS students. No guests will be allowed.
* If you are fasting for Ramadan, and prefer to spend your lunch period in a room away from the cafeteria, you may hang out in one of the following classrooms:
7th grade lunch Room 343 (Ms. Blouwolf’s room)
6th grade lunch Room 323 (Ms. Kenerson’s room)
8th grade lunch Room 306 (Ms. Steinberg’s room)
The Library is also available.
