TODAY IS DAY 2

Just a reminder: Department meetings start at 2:45 p.m. All students must leave the building after the bell. Teachers will not be available for extra help today, as they will be in meetings.

Basketball team members will be allowed back in the building at 3:30 p.m.

All 8th grade students enrolled in the DC/NYC April break trip: Reminder that all forms are due on Google Classroom TOMORROW. See Ms. Pham in room 215 if you have any questions.

 All students with woodworking projects completed in Mr. Cummings or Mr. Bodkins classes, please t take them home this week.

S.T.A.R.S., which stands for Students Talking About Race Skillfully, is proud to announce its first annual Film Festival next Wednesday, January 31st, after school from 2:30 – 3:25

in room 234.  All students are welcomed to attend, and interested folks should RSVP with either Ms. Hannon, Mr. Craft, or Mr. Chute.  See you next Wednesday!

8th Grade Civil Rights Trip Participants:

Our first official after school meeting will be held on Monday, January 29th, from 2:30-3:30 in room 229.  The focus for this first meeting will be to provide you with context of the

Civil Rights Movement and the contributions of the Freedom Riders.  We will be watching a documentary called, “A Time For Justice.” and having a discussion following the movie.

See Mrs. Coffey or Mrs. Gabrielson if you have any questions or if you will be unable to attend.

The BRCC Barton Road Community Center WMS Tutoring program runs today from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Please come and work on your assignments with support from your teachers.
