TODAY IS DAY 2
* French 7 students will be spending EITHER today or Thursday, March 1 at the MFA as the culmination of their study of French Impressionism. Today’s student participants will be
dismissed from period 1 at 8:20 am and will miss all of periods 2 – 6.
* The 6th grade science team would like to formally invite you and your
students to our 6th grade Astro Expo happening both today and Wednesday the 28th from 8:20 – 9:20, parts of period 1 and 2. During this time, students will be displaying both
models and written representations of a celestial body that they had chosen to research. The displays and presentations will be located in both the auditorium and cafeteria.

* On February 10th, 30 students from WMS 7th and 8th grade Chinese classes performed at the Chinese New Year Gala hosted by the Wellesley Chinese Community at Wellesley
High School. The students did a great job performing songs and rhymes in Chinese. One by one, they also greeted the audience with various Chinese New Year greetings.
We congratulate these students for their successful performance, and we praise their courage to speak in Chinese before hundreds of Chinese speakers in the audience.
Participating in this community event also helped our students gain deeper understanding of the Chinese culture.
* Attention Wellesley students from Boston: this is a reminder that there is tutoring after school today. See you in the cafeteria at 3:30!
* Science Olympiad will be in the cafe today. Come up quickly and get started. Make sure if you are staying until 4:00 that you have a ride home.
* Attention all 8th-grade girl’s basketball players. All uniforms are due tomorrow, Wednesday February 28th, and can be dropped off in Room 243.
* LOST & FOUND tables will be set up in the cafeteria today through the end of the week. Please take a moment to check all of the items to see what belongs to you.
* The Gay Straight Alliance will be meeting today. Even if you have never attended before, you are welcome at any time. Come join us during all three lunches in room 351!”

* Open Gym is in Gym B and the Fitness Center is open to all.
