Morning Announcements for a beautiful last day of February
TODAY IS DAY 3
* Science Olympiad team…the competition is just 3 days away! Good work yesterday. If you need more time to work on your events, Ms. Longley-Cook and/or Mrs. Derian will be
available after school this week.
* The 6th grade science team would like to formally invite you and your students to our 6th grade Astro Expo happening today from 8:30 until 9:20, parts of periods 1 and 2. During this time,
students will be displaying both models and written representations of a celestial body that they have chosen to research. The displays and presentations will be located in both the auditorium
and cafeteria. Today, Houses S & R are in the cafeteria and WMS is in the auditorium.
The science teams who presented yesterday did a fantastic job with their projects and presentations. Congratulations to all of you on the great work that you did!
* Attention Artists: Don’t forget to submit your design for a mini marathon t-shirt for the 6th & 7th grades and/or design a tee shirt to be used for the 8th grade year-end activities.
Please submit your design to any of the art teachers by tomorrow, March 1st.
* Tomorrow, the rest of the French 7 classes will be going to the MFA. These students will be dismissed from period 1 at 8:20 am and will not be back until the end of the day.
* Attention: all 8th grade girl’s basketball players – all uniforms are due today and can be dropped off in room 243.

Open Gym is in Gym B and the Fitness Center is open to all.
