Morning Announcements for Monday, April 30, 2018
TODAY IS DAY 4
* Today is the first day of 5th graders visiting WMS. Upham & Hardy 5th graders will be here beginning at 9:00 am. Please be sure to make them feel welcome!
* MCAS Make-up test will be held this morning.
* Wednesday is an Early Release Day. Periods will run 1, 5, 6 & 7. Department meetings will begin at 12:30 pm. All students must leave school after the bell and there will
not be any after school activities, except for private music lessons. Teachers will not be available for after school help on Wednesday.
* Grade 8 Community Service Day is this Wednesday.
* Song Lab will be playing “Rise Up” by Andrea Day today after school. Bring an instrument or come and use one of our ukuleles, guitars, keyboards or basses.
We meet in room 400 every Monday.
* The Graphic Novel Book Club with librarians Emma and Annie Lee from the Wellesley Free Libraries is meeting on Tuesday, May 1. We will bring the books to you!
Please bring your book from last month to the meeting.
6th grade meets from 11:52-12:17 in room 329.
7th grade meets from 11:23-11:48 in room 338.
* Don’t forget to order your WMS 2017-2018 Yearbook! Cost is $37.00 if
purchased by May 31st. After June 1st, the cost is $40.00, while supplies
last. Please go to www.coffeepond.com and use the password, “Raiders.”
* Art Journal club has been rescheduled and will meet tomorrow after school (Tuesday).
* Tennis Team – Your practice is cancelled for today.

* Open Gym is in Gym B and the Fitness Center is open to all.
