Morning Announcements for Thursday, September 6, 2018
TODAY IS DAY 6
* This morning, please join Principal Ito on the front lawn of the Middle School for coffee at 8:30am
* WMS will be closed on Monday, September 10th in observance of Rosh Hashanah.
* All 8th Grade students who have a 5th period study hall on even days, please stop by the main office during your homeroom this morning to pick up a new copy of your schedule.
* STUDENTS: Don’t forget to put a lock on your locker.
* The Tech Deck will be closed this morning from 8:30am – 10:15am.
* Just a reminder, tomorrow is Picture Day. Your teachers will bring you out to the front lawn for your pictures.
* If you are a new student to the Wellesley Public School system this year, and you attend the Middle School, you are invited to come to a gathering right after school this Friday,
that is hosted by our Parent Teacher Organization. New students should meet on the path that runs from the Donizetti street parking lot to the Sprague field, in front of the tennis
courts. We are planning ice-breaker activities and snacks/treats. Students, please feel free to bring any friends from WMS (new or returning), who are interested in meeting new people.
* The BRCC Barton Road Community Center tutoring program will start up today at 4:00pm for all 6th Graders ONLY. If you are a current 6th grader, please come and work on
your assignments, get organized, ask questions, or just to say “hello”. We will be welcoming 7th and 8th graders next week.
* Cross Country Track is CANCELLED today due to the heat.
* 8th grade Girls Volleyball tryouts will be held today and tomorrow after school in Gym A from 3:00 – 4:30pm.
* Grade 8 Boys Soccer: there will be an informational meeting TODAY after school in the cafeteria with Mr. Brown.
