Morning Announcements for Monday, February 11, 2019


Attention 6th graders: Remember to complete your 6th grade course selection and bring the signed verification form to your homeroom teacher by this Wednesday,

   February 13th. If you have any questions, please see your guidance counselor.

Attention students going on the Civil Rights Trip: There will be an after school meeting held this afternoon from 2:45 – 3:25pm in Room 229. We will be learning about the

  music of the Civil Rights Movement. Please see Mrs. Magarie, Ms. Russell or Mrs. Gabrielson if you have any question.

Hope you can attend tonight’s Wellesley Youth Hockey’s Pee Wee A1 team game – made up of almost all WMS 6th and 7th graders! They will face Norwood in the District

  finals of the state championship tournament. This promises to be a fantastic game and we hope that anyone who might be free will make it. It will be held at the Babson Skating

  Center at 6:50 pm. WEAR RED!

* The 9th Annual Chinese New Year Celebration will be held this Wednesday, February 13th from  2:30 – 3:30pm in the WMS cafeteria. This event is for WMS students,

  faculty and parent volunteers only and will include Chinese cuisine, entertainment and games. This is truly an event not to be missed!

* The Video Game and Card club will meet tomorrow (Tuesday) after school in Room 241.

Intramurals: Open Gym is in Gym B and the Fitness Center is open to all.

Congratulations to the Rubik’s Cube team who won FIRST PLACE at Rockland Tournament this weekend! The winning team includes Jase

Watson, Connor McClennan & Annabel Abdelal. Also won individual medals for fastest times on the 3X3 and 2X2 cubes!
