Morning Announcements for Friday, March 1, 2019
TODAY IS DAY 3
*Attention Boston Students: There will be a late bus for you scheduled for 4:00 pm this afternoon. Please join us for the after-school event called
“First Fridays” where there will be games and activities for students to participate in from 2:30 – 3:30 pm today. ALL students are welcome to attend!
LOOKING AHEAD TO NEXT WEEK:
* The Graphic Novel Book Club will meet on Tuesday, March 5th during all three lunchtimes:
7th Grade will meet in Room #338
6th Grade will meet in Room #329
8th Grade will meet in Room #224
* Wednesday, March 6th is an Early Release Day. Periods will run 1, 5, 6 & 7. There is a Faculty meeting and your teachers will not be available for extra help. ALL
students must leave school after the 11:19 am bell and there are no after school activities. The Library will also close at 11:19 am. Please plan on taking the bus, walking
home or getting a ride.
* All French 7 students will be spending Thursday, March 7th at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, as the culmination of their study of French Impressionism. Participants
will be dismissed from Period 1 at 8:20 am and will miss all of Periods 2 – 6 and will try to be back in time for all of Period 7.
* Next Friday, March 8th, some of the students from the WMS Band, Chorus and Orchestra will be participating in the Massachusetts Music Educators Association Eastern
District Festival. The students attending will miss the entire day and will be performing with students from neighboring school districts. There is a list of all of the students that are
participating on the wall outside the main office. This is a huge accomplishment, and please be sure to congratulate these students for their hard work and talents, as this is a highly
competitive event.
