Morning Announcements for Monday, May 20, 2019
TODAY IS DAY 6
*MCAS Make-ups will happen today and tomorrow. Your homeroom teacher will let you know where to go if you need to make up an exam.
*Thursday, May 23rd will be the first day of the 5th Grade visits to WMS. On Thursday, Schofield, Hunnewell and Fiske will be here touring the school. Please make
them feel welcome.
*Faculty will have a meeting Thursday afternoon after school. ALL students will be required to leave after the 2:29 pm bell and there will not be any afternoon activities.
Please plan to take the bus, walk or get a ride home.
*As you know, some of the Wellesley High School seniors have been working hard on their Senior Projects here at WMS. As part of her Senior Project, Camille Fay is collecting donations for the Animal Rescue League. There is a box outside of the Main Office for donations of cat/dog food, snacks, blankets, towels and toys. The box will be here thru the end
of the week.
*Memorial Day Assembly will he held this Friday, May 24th. Period 1 assembly will include Grade 8 and Grade 6 Houses R, W and WMS.
Period 2 will include students from Grade 7 and Grade 6 Houses M and S.
*Congratulation to the Grade 8 Chorus and the 6th, 7th and 8th grade Jazz Band members for their rocking performances at the State House on Friday!
We are so proud of all of your accomplishments!
*Video Game and Card Club is cancelled for Wednesday, May 22nd. The next meeting will be on Monday, May 28th.
INTRAMURALS TODAY:
Ping Pong will be held in Gym A, Open Gym is in Gym B and the Fitness Center is open to all.
