Today is Monday September 20th and it’s day 5.

Are you curious about what some people in our WMS community are celebrating this week? This week is the Jewish holiday of Sukkot. The holiday begins this evening and will end September 27th.

Sukkot is the week-long Harvest Festival that celebrates the gathering of the harvest. It also commemorates the Jews’ wandering in the desert after leaving slavery, as well as the protection provided for the children of Israel when they left Egypt. People celebrate Sukkot by eating and sleeping outdoors in a foliage-covered booth.

There are students and their families at WMS who are observing this holiday. We wish all people at WMS observing this holiday, Happy Sukkot.

Lunch will be outside today!

Thank you everyone and enjoy your day!
