~Today is Thursday April 9, 2026, Day 5
~Block rotation: Advisory, B, C, F, A, D, G, E
~Lunch: 6, 8, 7
The second day of ELA MCAS is this morning. At this time, all students should be in Advisory. If you are not, you can move to the right location after I’ve completed these morning announcements. The testing period will last from approximately 7:45 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Bells will be turned off all day and the periods will be called over the PA system. During the testing, no iPads should be used outside of the test itself. If leaving the classroom is necessary, teachers should highly monitor the reasons and timing. Also, only one person should be out of the room at any given time. As always, students should not be using this time to socialize when outside of class.
If you are an 8th grader and would like to be a guide for our Grade 5 student visits, please come down to the main office by tomorrow, Friday and let us know you are interested. We will do a lottery to select the guides.
All teachers and staff will be engaged in faculty working time after school today. All students must plan to leave the building immediately at the 2:29 pm dismissal bell. There will be no afternoon activities and therefore no Boston or Wellesley late buses. The library will also be closed after school. Spring play actors: You DO have rehearsal today after the faculty meeting. All actors should leave the building and plan to return to the Auditorium at 3:30 pm.
Have a good day everyone!
Please note that the daily announcements are sometimes subject to change during the school day. When this happens the announcements will be updated on the website and on the video screen in the WMS lobby, but a new email will not be sent.
