Are you curious about what some people in our WMS community will be celebrating this weekend? Today is the Eastern Orthodox Christian observance of Good Friday and Sunday is the Eastern Orthodox Christian holiday of Easter. On Good Friday, also known as Great Friday or Holy Friday, some people spend time in church services and often fast on this day. It celebrates the resurrection of Jesus after having died by crucifixion. It is the most important holiday in Eastern Orthodoxy as it notes the moment Jesus’ divinity was confirmed as he rose from the dead. We wish all people at WMS observing these holidays a “thoughtful Good Friday” and a “happy Easter”.
Lost and found is piling up again. Please check the table outside the main office for any items you may have lost. Older items may be donated over the April break.
The library will be closed after school today.
There will be no 3:30 pm bus to Boston today. All students riding to Boston will be taking the 2:30 pm bus. The late bus in Wellesley will leave at 3:30 pm.
