*On Tuesday, we had our June Jaunt Walk to School Day. It was great to see students being active and green by walking to school. A special thanks to PE teacher Mr. Guzzi for planning this event for our community.
*On Friday, we had an assembly featuring our Kindergarten students. Kudos to Kindergarten teachers Mrs. Berkowitz and Mrs. Czyryca for preparing students for this assembly
Attention 5th grade parents: Moving Up Ceremony
On Friday at 9:00 AM, we will have the 5th grade Moving Up Ceremony. This will take place outside on the field behind the school. Families are encouraged to bring picnic blankets to sit on. For guests that may require chair seating, please bring a camp chair that can be positioned on the edge of the viewing area. In the event of rain, this event will take place in the gym with guests being asked to wear face masks. We look forward to recognizing our 5th grade students as they move up to middle school!
Summer Reading News from the Library!
This summer we want all of our Hardy readers to keep reading! We put together Summer Reading packets and distributed them to students last week. Each packet includes a bookmark, book suggestions for summer reading and a reading challenge.
Students in grades K-4 have a Reading Bingo challenge to complete and return to the Library in September. Students in grade 5 have middle school specific reading requirements.
All Summer Reading info can also be found on the Wellesley Public Schools Summer Reading Site. You will also find links to that site and more at the Hardy Library Website
Finally, students can also participate in the Wellesley Free Library or Boston Public Library Summer Reading programs at the same time!
Please ask your student to share the packet with you and Happy Reading!!!
