Description: Art club is a place for students to get together and make art. No experience is necessary, artists of every level are welcome. Members will have access to all the drawing and painting materials available in the art room, and can use club time to experiment or work on personal projects. Community building activities like sketch prompts and games will also take place.
Description: Come join us to learn about various visual artworks and beyond being created throughout time. We will cover from the very beginning of recorded time up to present day artwork being produced. These artworks include 2D and 3D work as well as architecture. We also cover a wide range of art materials at the same time. From time to time we also bring in other forms of art to the club to share and discuss. Then as a bonus, we will be visiting various art museums and galleries in the local area throughout the year. Come join the fun each week and/or pop in anytime you are free. All are welcome!
Description: This year our primary goal is going to be supporting the non-profit organization Art Wellesley in any way that we can. The first project is called the "yarn bomb", a series of knit patchwork that we will cover the town square with come May! This project is going to be super random, and super fun.
Description: Our mission is to provide the WHS student body with a safe space to discuss AAPI issues and a place to learn about current news events in the AAPI community. Members are welcome to be curious and ask question, as well as share personal experiences. This club will allow members to actively participate in fundraising events, supporting various AAPI non-profit organizations. Be ready to engage in topic-based discussions about AAPI heritage and building a strong community.
