Morning Announcements for Friday, December 7, 2018
TODAY IS DAY 4
* Grade 8 Band and Orchestra students should report to the band and orchestra rooms after their homeroom this morning to board the buses for the State House field trip.
Students in Mr. Adams General Music and Band classes today should bring their iPads and headphones to class.
* Students interested in auditioning for the High School Musical, Jr., auditions are next Wednesday or Thursday. At auditions, you will learn the song “Start of Something New.”
If you want to practice ahead of time, you can grab a copy of the music (along with your audition contract) from Mrs. Fine or Ms. Speed, at the board outside the drama room or on the
WMS Drama website.
* 8th Grade Boys’ Basketball tryouts – last tryout is this afternoon at 3:30pm in Gym A. Just a reminder, if you are staying at school between 2:30 – 3:30pm, you must be either in the
library or the cafeteria and not hanging out in the hallways.
*LOST & FOUND tables have been set up in the cafeteria today. There are loads of coats, sweatshirts, lunch bags and other apparel. Please take
a few minutes to look through the items to see what belongs to you.
LOOKING AHEAD TO NEXT WEEK:
* On Monday, December 10th, Grade 6 students will participate in a SEED session. The topic will evolve around friendship, friendship patterns and making and maintaining friendships.
* Wednesday, December 12th during Periods 1 & 2 is the National Geography Bee Finals.
* The WMS Jazz Concert is next Tuesday, December 11th in the WMS Auditorium beginning at 7:00pm. Hope you can make it!
