Morning Announcements for Monday, December 10, 2018
TODAY IS DAY 5
* WMS has eleven finalists for the Geography Bee. There are five 6th graders, four 7th graders and two 8th graders. The finals will take place in the auditorium this Wednesday, December 12 during Period 1 and as
much of Period 2 as needed. There is no requirement for any class to attend, but if you want to take your class to support your classmates, feel free to do so. You can also bring kids in during Period 2 to see the very
end if you wish, just enter/exit quietly.
* Although contracts for High School Musical auditions were due on Friday, we are still accepting them! If you want to audition and have not brought in a contract, please do so ASAP. See Mrs. Speed or Ms. Fine if you
have any questions.
* Congratulations to the 8th Grade Band and Orchestra students for their wonderful concert performance at the State House in Boston last Friday!
* The WMS 6th, 7th & 8th grade Jazz Concert is tomorrow night, December 11th in the WMS Auditorium beginning at 7:00 pm. This will be a great evening of music performed by our students. We hope you can attend.
* Next week there are several Performing Arts evening concerts: Grade 8 Choral concert will be on Tuesday, December 18th. The Band will be performing on Wednesday, December 19th and the Orchestra has its
performance on Thursday, December 20th. All concerts start at 7:00pm in the WMS auditorium.
* Lost & Found: The tables are filled with all types of clothing, umbrellas and water bottles. Please take a look at the items on the tables during lunch and take what belongs to you.
