Morning Announcements for Thursday, October 3, 2019
TODAY IS DAY 1
There will be a Faculty meeting this afternoon right after school. All students must leave after the 2:29 pm bell
and there are no after-school activities. The Library will also close at 2:29 pm. Coaches, you must stay with your team
members and no one is allowed to be walking around the school. Students with home games, please leave school after the bell
and return at 3:15 pm. Please plan on taking the bus, walking home or getting a ride home.
Grade 6 Houses W, R & WMS will be on a Field Trip today. Please remember to have a lunch with you. If you don’t have one,
please stop by the Main Office to pick one up.
All students going on the Field Trip today, please bring your backpack/lunch with you to the Auditorium first period for the assembly.
You will be boarding the buses after the assembly.
Reminder: It is a raw, damp day today. Please bring a sweatshirt or jacket with you.
Cell phones are allowed, but if they are misused, they will be taken away.
Also, remember you are representing Wellesley Middle School, so please act responsively.
6th Grade Houses M & S – Your day today will consist of the following:
Period 1: Panel Discussion with Guidance in Gym A
Period 2: Greek Mythology Assembly in the auditorium
Period 3: Head to your Electives
Period 4: Safety Drill in the cafeteria
Period 5 (1) Assembly in the auditorium
Period 6 Electives
Period 7: I-pad workshop in the cafeteria
At 2:15 all 6th grade students will return to their homerooms.
*Ms. Fine’s Period 4 Drama class will meet in Room 363 today.
