Superintendent’s Bulletin

Dear Colleagues,
I hope you each had a restful February break, which ended up being extended by our two snow days earlier this week. (For our historians out there, we haven’t had two consecutive snow days since SY2017-18.) To see the impact of our snow days on our end-of-year dates in June, please visit our online calendar: https://wellesleyps.org/academic-calendar-2025-26/
This week also marked the final School Committee meeting for members Sharon Clarke and Christina Horner, whose terms are coming to an end next week. We thank Sharon and Christina for their service in these demanding roles, through which they consistently brought their deep commitment to our students and our community. Town elections are next Tuesday, March 3rd, and there are four candidates for the two open school committee seats. I thank all of the candidates for these and other town offices who have stepped forward to serve. Leadership in the public domain is extremely challenging at the moment and I’m grateful for all of the individuals who nonetheless put themselves out there to support our town.
Thanks for all that you do each day across the district in service of our students and families. Have a great weekend!
Best, David
