Dear Colleagues,
What a beautiful day our last day with students turned out to be! The final week of school is always a time of thanks and expressions of gratitude. I’d like to join the chorus of praise for our team and thank each of you for a job well done in the past year. The work of education in a community that has such high expectations is not easy. Parents send us their very best and demand the same from us. You deliver on this promise every day.
As you head into a well-deserved summer break, I hope you will each take time to slow down, enjoy your family, read some great books, and sleep in late. However you spend the summer, I hope you return in August rested and ready to go.
Please know how grateful I am for your commitment to our students and to our profession. See you on the beach!

Renewing Your Educator’s License?
Information about requirements to renew your educator license is available on the WPS website. Click here to go to the HR Licensure tab. When you apply for your license on the DESE website under ELAR, the DESE will send you an electronic communication about what is missing from your licensure file in order to renew. The HR licensure tab and your ELAR account are two tools to assist you with information about licensure renewal.
