Superintendent’s Bulletin

January 9, 2026

Dear Colleagues,
Happy New Year! I hope you each had a restful and joyful winter recess and that you are off to a great start in 2026! I wanted to echo the news I shared just prior to the break, which is that, effectively immediately, Lauren Saracino is no longer “interim” in her role as our Director of Performing Arts. Lauren has been an exceptional addition to our team over the past year and we look forward to her leading our program into the future in partnership with our students, staff, and families.
I also wanted to extend my thanks to Jesse Davis, who announced this week that he will be stepping down from his role as the head coach of our varsity football team.  Jesse has served in this role for the past 14 years, during which he has guided his players as a teacher and coach.  I am grateful for Jesse’s many contributions to our community both on and off the field.
Finally, I want to acknowledge the high level of uncertainty and anxiety that we each may be feeling in response to world and national events over the past week.  In addition to supporting each other, let’s continue to track how our students are doing and be willing to engage with them as they attempt to make meaning of these same events.
Thanks for what you do each day to support our district and have a great weekend.  (And go Pats!)
Best,
David
